IMPORTANT: the steam locomotive services are temporarily suspended until further notice. During this period, express trains hauled by electric locomotives will operate on a similar schedule.

The Ōigawa Main was severely damaged by Typhoon No. 15 in September 2022, and rail services between Kawane-Onsen Sasamado and Senzu stations are currently suspended for the foreseeable future. Under these irregular circumstances, we are only able to operate steam trains as far as Kawane-Onsen Sasamado station.

Customers traveling beyond Ieyama station towards Senzu and Sumatakyo will be required to transfer to Kawane-Honcho Town's community buses at Ieyama Station.
Please kindly note that connections at Ieyama station may be limited, and substantial layover times can be expected depending on itineraries.
