Dai-Testu’s flagship locomotive, which has been
running since 1976.
Built in September 1942, this train can be categorised as a well-preserved pre-war locomotive. (Post-1943, Steam Locomotives were designed differently.) This sophisticated tank system locomotive, which is an improved version of C10 Model, can run fast as 85km per hour. 227 joined Oigawa Railway in November 1975. Since its first run on 9th July 1976 as a Steam Locomotive, it has been representing Oigawa Railway.
